Position Overview
StaffNow is currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our core workforce as a Forklift Driver at an industry-leading food distribution and logistics facility in Brookshire. This full-time position offers a highly stable, independent, and active work environment for those who prefer dynamic warehouse operations over a desk job. Key Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up riders, and reach trucks to transport pallets of food products and dry goods across the facility.

Load outbound trailers and unload inbound freight shipments efficiently to maintain daily distribution schedules.

Accurately pull, build, wrap, and stage pallets for outgoing customer and retail store orders.

Utilize RF scanners and inventory sheets to verify product codes, lot numbers, and stock quantities.

Perform daily pre-shift equipment safety inspections, maintain clean work aisles, and report any maintenance or safety hazards immediately.
Job Requirements & Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and verifiable prior experience operating sit-down, stand-up rider, or reach truck forklifts.

Ability to safely handle palletized inventory using industrial equipment and RF scanning tools.

Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe work boots (safety goggles and gloves provided on site).

Strict compliance with facility guidelines, including a no-cell-phone policy on the warehouse floor.

Strong focus on accuracy, punctuality, and workplace safety protocols.

Compliance Note: Must pass a 5-panel drug screen and a 7-year background check (including national, county, local, and SSN alias verification) prior to placement. Candidates previously placed at this facility are ineligible for rehire.
