Position Overview
StaffNow is currently seeking a highly skilled, adaptive, and self-motivated Project Engineer to join the engineering team at a key manufacturing facility in Ennis, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining excellence in developing, executing, and controlling assigned engineering projects to help achieve plant operational goals. Through expert application of engineering techniques and principles, you will conduct detailed analyses to optimize facility productive capabilities, drive cost efficiencies, and enhance equipment performance with an uncompromised focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute capital projects (modifications, facility improvements, and new equipment integration) across the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery strictly aligns with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Define, design, and manage project installations, including preparing detailed engineering scopes, cost estimations, and capital expenditure justifications.

Conduct technical analyses and investigations regarding existing plant facilities to identify opportunities for optimizing overall productive capacity.

Provide sound engineering recommendations considering critical factors such as maintainability, ease of production, cost efficiency, and material/equipment availability.

Collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, and safety leadership to ensure seamless execution and optimal equipment performance.
Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical) required.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing or roofing/building products environment.

Proven ability to manage multiple complex engineering assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and adaptive execution skills.

Excellent technical communication and project budgeting capabilities.
