Position Overview
StaffNow is currently seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Phoenix, AZ. In this full-time daytime role, you will support the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials, products, equipment, and inventory documentation across the facility. This includes verifying incoming freight, packing outbound orders, operating warehouse MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks), and coordinating with freight carriers. Key Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving logs.

Identify shortages, overages, visible cargo damage, or documentation discrepancies and promptly report them to management.

Accurately record receipts, shipments, transfers, and inventory movements in company inventory systems.

Label, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations using established inventory control practices.

Pick, pack, secure, label, and prepare customer orders, intercompany transfers, and returns for outbound transport.

Prepare accurate bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, shipping labels, and carrier documentation on time.

Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal plant departments.

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, scales, and RF scanners once authorized and trained.
Job Requirements & Qualifications

Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse inventory control, or material handling preferred.

Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Good computer skills and experience using inventory scanning software and shipping systems.

Strong communication skills and detail orientation for documentation verification.

Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stage materials throughout the shift.
